Photo Series

Texture is an interesting thing to portray in art. For any medium, I find texture to be a very nice touch.  Art critics ask really weird questions. What is my art made of? What? How can I define beauty!? How can anyone define anything? Regardless of what I say, there will be people who like it and people who hate it. So what am I trying to convey to you? A message, like any other artist, of course; that there is beauty, somewhere, everywhere. All the time, day or night; it’s there. But who’s looking for it? Not that many, it seems. So I want to show it to you! I’m going to be your detective, search for that piece of beauty you are too busy to look for.
When I find something appealing, I need to get it in the most extravagant angle possible. Who wants to find an amazing pearl under the sea and look at it head on? I need to give it a perspective that will entice you to want to gaze at it longer. But I’m rambling. My series photos are to show the texture (of clothes).  Like in a painting, when an artist shows the texture, I feel as though, if I touch the painting—I may very well be touching the fur, cotton or silk! Whatever the case may be. It’s an impressive feat in my opinion.

Photo Walk

Bolted

I thought it was interesting, but at the same time lacking due to the confinement we were placed in. So finding something interesting was hard. It's my favorite because I like pictures up close like this.

Cheeming Boey

He is very creative and doesn't draw typical converse art like other artists who use Sharpies for drawing. His shading and value is very inspiring to me and makes me want to practice even harder to achieve a likeness.

Brian Duey

He only uses Prisma Color Pencils and his art work comes out AMAZING! Looking at his art also inspires me to continue coloring in with pencils even though it's slightly challenging.

David Preissel
I like dark things(books, art, clothes), and his photography has just that.

Rosa Klebb's style is so nice. I love the characters she comes up with and I very much would like to draw graffiti cartoons as well.

Seak!

Graffiti is extremely amazing! The people who do it are so talented and it makes me quite jealous. I love pretty much all art by these artists but I like Seak's especially.
