Surreal Montage

Unfortunately, I couldn't get my original idea done, however I will work on it on my own time. This photo is about how we take our possessions for granted. That they'll always be there and that we can depend solely on them. However, in this picture, the model's last possession (a simple cushioned seat) is being lifted from her. Yet she holds her hand out wanting/waiting for more materials. As if they should simply fall in her lap. I like the background picture because it's barren and has no life to it. I'd like to also take note that the model is purposely alone because her materials have consumed her so well that she has left her own family and friends behind. I feel the piece was successful enough to the point that it's abstract yet aesthetic. I do, however, feel like something is missing. I also wish I could've made the light in the window darker.

I like the concept and think it was successful. I also like how all the pictures go well together to make the peiece even more successful. I also think that by having it in black and white was a good idea because it goes with the concept that shes alone.
